Helpful Tool for Thin Meat Slicing

I got this because I have a few meals that I make that need thin sliced meat, and the options were either careful hand slicing or buying a bulky slicer. This felt like a good middle ground. My first impression was that it felt sturdy and well thought out. I did have to cut chicken breasts down to fit into the cup, but once they were sized correctly, loading it was easy. The suction cup on the bottom grabbed the counter firmly and did not move at all while I was using it.I used it to slice chicken for kebobs and found that it worked very well. The slices came out even and consistent, which saved me a lot of time. I liked that it handled fresh meat smoothly without slipping. If the blades catch the plastic edge just right, small bits of plastic can end up mixed in with the meat, but a quick rinse took care of that. Cleaning was straightforward. I rinsed out any pieces stuck between the blades and ran it through the dishwasher without issues.I gave it 4 stars because it does exactly what I hoped it would and makes slicing meat much easier. The value feels good if you cook meals that need thin cuts but do not want a large slicer taking up space. I found it useful and easy to clean, but it is something I will reach for occasionally rather than every day.
