Splurged on myself for holiday baking. Can't believe I have baked without it so long. Much more convenient than stopping mixer to add ingredients. Easy to clean. Fits metal bowl quickly and easily.
This product is such a huge help with my baking. My ingredients actually go into the mixing bowl instead of all over my countertops, even the flour. I could control the flow of flour where it wasn’t flying all over the place. Definitely allowing me to step up my game.
Great idea, the material is smooth but flour and other dry ingredients kind of stick to it and you have to brush it in. Eggs and liquids slide down great! And it fit on the bowl 🥣
I have 2 of the Costco tulip-shaped bowls that frequently don't fit with the extra gadgets sold for KA mixers. I sometimes need something to help me dump flour while I'm mixing. I ordered a couple of different things to try with my tulip shaped bowls.I ordered the KA shield & flour chute which was supposed to fit most of the larger bowls. Sadly, it didn't fit my tulip-shaped bowl. Also, I quickly realized that I don't want a large shield when I'm mixing as frequently I need to scrape the sides so I don't want some large contraption that I have to continually remove and add back on. Also, where will I store it?This stand-alone Metro chute is easily attached & easily tossed to the side as you work. It's also small and can store in my small plastic basket in the cabinet with my paddle, whisk, etc. While it will slide on to my tulip-shaped bowl, I realized when I went to use it, it will drop right off as soon as a bit of flour hits it. Ooops! Luckily, I keep my covered food processor right next to it on my small countertop. So I'm able to slide my food processor over to keep the chute at an angle without falling off. Is it ideal? NOPE! Do I have an alternative to help make adding flour easier? Also NOPE! So, this works, if you have something to hold it onto the tulip-shaped bowl.To be honest, I'd prefer a cheaper chute than to have the engraved saying on the side of the chute. I prefer affordability & practicality over cutesy. Regardless, this does exactly what I need it to do. And it's easy to clean & easy to store.
Pouring chute seems to be well made and serve the purpose and is a lot better than some plastic ones for sale.
Great and handy addition to my Kitchen Aid tools. No mess pouring of flour and eggs. Compact and stores in the bowl after use. Brilliant!
