Received mine today and like so many I thought it would have a solid lid for when not in use. Not the sellers fault. Mine for not reading better.I was able to resolve the problem with a pint canning lid (without the ring). It fits perfectly and the cap with the holes fits right over it. Keeps the air out and prevents accidental spillage.I love that there are different tops with different size holes.
Love this little sifter. I actually bought this to use in my garden so I could easily sprinkle Diatomaceous Earth powder around the plants to help bugs. The multiple lid options definitely make it easy to choose and control how much I apply. Great quality and value.
I am a wax technician and this is the one thing you NEED for your services. Easy to use when you need to throw some powder on your client during a wax service. Easy to clean & disinfect after use. 10/10Wish they sold them as a pair
I bought this to make my own rub for a brisket and after putting it all together, I only ended up using about half of the rub. It’s really good rub and it would be cool if they made and included a airtight lid to change out for when you want to store the remaining rub. Otherwise worked as expected.
Before picking this, I read reviews on Amazon and even did a couple internet searches because it just wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. The complaints about the various choices alternated between the lid falling off (haha! -- obviously not good!) and not being able to get the lid off without real exertion. I finally landed on this one and decided to give it a go -- honestly, it's perfect. No problem with the lid -- I mean no problem at all. And it has a good feel -- I thought the plastic might have those unpleasant seams or something, but its smooth all the way around. I guess there's aren't many of us looking for a big salt shaker (for cooking), but if you are, I can't see why you won't be very happy with this on. Oh, it comes with 3 lids; mine just happens to be for salt, but it would clearly be great for other things. Excellent product.
Really happy with this purchase. I wanted to create a quick blend of my staple seasonings to save time in the kitchen. It worked. I should have done this sooner.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this for my dry rub and it was supposed to be 10oz…. When I got it I found out it is only 8oz…. There is no way to seal it closed . Not happy. And the box was all beat up…
