I ordered these trays to contain the food my messy cats knock out of their food bowls. The trays keep most of the food off the floor. I had 5 cats when I ordered these; sadly, now I have 4. I change to clean trays once a week, and wash them in the laundry room sink. I had 4 similar trays before, so now I have 10. These are a very good way to keep pet food off the floor, although these may not work for large, messy dogs; depends on how your pet eats. I am sure these are good for crafting, too: keep the glitter somewhat contained! Again, very sturdy, and I recommend them.

Great product for less than $4 a piece. Lots of non-cafeteria uses.
UPDATE: I have been using it for about a week and really love these trays. My cats sometimes knock on the water feeder and the tray really kept the water contained. I also use them for sorting puzzle pieces.These trays are great for less than $4 a piece. I use two for containing my cats' food and water mess. I will leave the other 4 in the car so when we get takeout, we can eat it in the car without making a mess. Very convenient during COVID. I may buy more to line my wire shelves so smaller items won't fall through the cracks. The trays are slightly convex in the middle so they are not completely flat. It's not a deal breaker for me but I can see it as a deal breaker for others.

Not quite commercial-quality, but still great
These are definitely not the heavy duty trays like you put under your mom's Civic's rear wheels to drift in the Taco Bell parking lot in 2003. But, they're not going to bend or break unless you're obviously abusing them.Genuinely though, the other reviews can sound manufactured because of how heavily they emphasize the trays' usefulness; but they really are ridiculously useful.I use them for meal prep and service, projects that have little parts and lots of fasteners, re-potting small plants indoors, watering plants that don't have saucers. It prevents me from pulling the vacuum out on a daily basis, and I hardly ever have to wipe down the counter. I've usually got one sitting on my workbench, and a few ready for use in the kitchen.Pro tip: pair with a grippy placemat, shelving liner, or silicone trivet for an ultra-secure serving tray.
