Love this thing. Out freezer freezes ice cream so hard it was impossible to scoop it without microwaving it. It will bend spoons and can't get a scoop to make a dent. This is so tapered it goes into the ice cream very easy. I am very happy with this purchase.

Spades are so much more efficient than ice cream scoops. You can easily scoop out the sides of the container and a strong wrist is not necessary. I just bought one for my elderly friend with wrist issues and she loves it. You won't get the pretty little balls of ice cream, but you will get MORE ice cream.
