Super made tongs of a fantastic weight and easy spring back but also easy to hold and use. The coating is thick and grippy so if any grease or oils they are still high functioning. Generous size of 12 for the price. No locking feature these are basic food tongs.
Pretty much professional tongs, if there's such a thing. Solid, ergonomic, non of that plastic stuff ordinary tongs are made of. Pretty good product
Opened the box and these tongs feel like they belong in a diner kitchen. The stainless steel has decent weight without feeling heavy. The scalloped end locks onto bacon or salad greens without tearing them up. Vinyl coating on the handles keeps my fingers from warming up even when the pan hits 180. I ran one through the dishwasher after a greasy cook and no spotting showed up. I didnt expect 12 in the pack so now I have plenty for awhile and can stash a few in the grill bag. Color choices help me keep raw meat tools separate from serving ones which is neat. Hinge action is smooth right out of the wrap and no metal shavings anywhere. They close tight enough to grab a single shrimp yet open wide for ribs. Finish looks like it will take daily use without bending. My only gripe is the little hanging loop is a tad small for my wall hook but thats minor. Overall they get used every day and havent let me down yet.
My go to because of its sturdiness and durability.. it’s easy to clean and came in a large packet. Didn’t really read so I was surprised that I got so many tongs but it’s very useful for large gatherings which we usually have and the value is great easy to handle too - the other tongs I’ve had for months are already breaking down these are like restaurant quality and I know they’ll last a long time
These are nice stainless steel tongs. However, when I ordered these, it was unclear to me that I was getting a set of12 of the exact same size of tong. I thought maybe it was a set with different sizes. In any case, the tongs themselves are nice, and if you cater or throw a lot of parties, it may be helpful to have this many tongs in exactly the same size. The tongs are stainless steel and they run through a high heat dishwasher perfectly, no problems. They work easily over high heat on the stove for things like flipping meat. Or, you can use them for serving that same meat or even for tossing a salad. So, they are very versatile and comfortable in the hand. While I don't need 12 of these for myself, I'm sure I will find family members who will be happy to have a pair or two. My only complaint about these tongs is that I do wish that they had a feature to keep them locked/ closed when not in use. Otherwise, they are just what I was looking for.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these New Star 12-inch utility tongs. A lot of tongs in this style tend to feel flimsy, with tips that don’t line up well, making it frustrating to pick up smaller items. That’s definitely not the case with these. They’re solid, don’t flex side to side, and the tips align properly, which gives you a secure grip whether you’re handling something small or heavier cuts of meat.The vinyl-coated handles are a nice touch—they feel comfortable in hand and give a bit of extra grip without getting too hot. They’ve held up well through regular use and dishwasher cycles, and I have no doubt they’ll last a long time. For the price, getting a full set of 12 sturdy, reliable tongs is a great deal. These feel like the kind of quality you’d find in a commercial kitchen.
These are great for home or commercial kitchen use. We have been using them for a few weeks now for our church events. They are very durable, easy to use, and very easy to clean as well. There are no small loose parts, no need to worry about anything fall apart into the foods or anything. Love the quality, will get more in the future.
