I was expecting a different material on the handle but no issues with grip. Easy to handle everything on a grill. Holds everything from brats to steaks as well as turning a mesh basket. I’ve flipped full racks of ribs and even move around 8# pork butt. 12” works best for everything. Was hoping for black or blue but sold out at the time.
Well, these are neither great nor bad. The are basic metal tongs, no silicon on the tips to prevent scratching but a stretch at the grip end to ease heat transfer. They are foundationally simple. Buying in bulk makes them a great price, but if you don't need a dozen, might look to upgrade to better tongs for home use. These would be best where metal ends do not matter, BBQ grills, buffets, iron skillets.
These tongs are perfectly designed. They open and they close. Perfect at their job. The handles have a nice insulation to protect your hands from heat and also give it a different texture to better grip. These tongs feel well-made. More importantly, these are dishwasher safe. No dishwasher will be safe from having to clean 12 tongs at once.
A little lightweight but would work well if you were put out a buffet and wanted to have each dish have it's own set of tongs to put out. These are not top quality but should last for a few outings. They are a good value for the amount you receive in this pack. Probably wouldn't use these for grill work as they don't feel like they would last.
So... i wasn't expecting SO MANY TONGS but that's my bad. They are very nice quality - perfect for grilling, and feel really nice in my hands. Not a cheap feel at all. They are very easy and quick to wash. Having tons of these is great for potluck or salad or holiday spreads. They have a good click clack to them as well.
Very well made tongs. I was in need of new BBQ tongs for my grilling. My old ones were becoming rusty. I ha debated whether I should spend a lot of money on a “premium” pair or something more reasonable. I saw these tongs and decided to order them. What I like about them is that they are made very well for such a simple design. They have excellent spring action and the size is perfect for me to not only use, but store as well. My wife tried them and immediately took 2 pair of them for the kitchen. After our grown children saw them, I was not able to keep two pair of tongs for my grilling. Everyone loves them.
