If you need 12 tongs, this set is perfect! The New Star Foodservice utility tongs are sturdy, well-made, and super reliable for both home and commercial use. The stainless steel construction feels durable, and the green vinyl coating gives a nice grip and makes them easy to identify. They open and close smoothly and are great for cooking, serving, or food prep. Excellent quality and value for a bulk set—these will definitely last a long time!

These tongs are very long and nice quality, and you get a whole box of them so it seems like a pretty good value, especially if you're running some kitchen operation where you need a lot of tongs! For me though, I'll probably end up gifting some away in the future, but for now we keep a couple in our kitchen and they make it very easy to keep your hands away from the heat and lift larger pieces of food vs the mini tongs we usually keep around.

Nice and durable tongs. They are huge and very solid and functional. The grip coating is a nice green color and seems like it won't be rubbing off any time soon.
First this is a box of 12, I thought it would be just 1. They have very good grip and work really well. We used them for searing steaks. There seems to be some inconsistency in the quality as we washed 2 of them on the dishwasher and 1 of them rusted. The other one seems fine at the moment.
At first, the “12-pack” part escaped my eye, so I thought someone in marketing had a stroke and spazzed out on the keyboard when submitting the selling price. Okay, so less than $3.50 per, not 40 bucks for a pair of tongs. Whew. When ordered on 5/5/25 they were at $39.99 for a dozen. Great length for grilling, a bit long for regular old stovetop frying, but useful. They measured anywhere from 0.76 mm to 0.94 mm, so I’m the ballpark of 20 to 22 gauge stainless steel. Which will flex some at this length. The green handle part arrived needing absolutely no de-stinkification airing out in the sunshine, so kudos for that. These will get use for inside frying and boiling, outside in the grill and I’ll keep a pair of two for stirring fluxes into molten alloys and flipping hot molds and ingots.
