Great tongs, food service quality.
I'm very pleased with these tongs. I don't like the ones with silicone on the grabby part, and I can't stand the ones that are always getting stuck in lock mode. I wanted some like this and was having trouble finding them, and here they are.These are the 9 inch tongs. I was hoping for something a bit smaller, but these are basically the same as the 12 inch tongs, only shorter. The grabby part is the same size as on the 12 inch tongs. I was hoping for something that could go into small spaces and pull out delicate things like a slice of toast and these are not that. But if you want a sturdy set of tongs with a shorter handle, this is the way to go. They do require a bit of press to push them together, so if you have weak hands, maybe. not for youThese are meant for food service, which means they are sturdy and strong, but not overly pretty. But then, tongs are never really pretty. If you want them for a fancy kitchen look, they might not be the thing, but for functionality, they're just right. You'd have to use a light touch to handle pastries with these, but easy enough to learn how much pressure to apply. They would be great for using in a food truck, for cooking, for grilling, for grabbing a large quantity of pasta or veggies, etc.Recommended.

High quality, should last a lifetime, great price
These took quite a while to arrive, but I'm glad I ordered them. They are restaurant quality, with a dipped yellow silicone or plastic on the handle to make them easier on your hands and give you a better grip. They're a good size, and close well around food. The stainless steel is very sturdy and springy, so I anticipate they will last a lifetime. I've had other tongs that had a spring mechanism, rather than springy steel, and those little springs always rust out. There is nothing to rust on these. I also love that the bright yellow makes them easy to spot in the utensil drawer in my kitchen. Note that there are 12 of them in the package, so the price per pair of tongs is really low.

Sturdy and Strong
These New Star Foodservice 9-inch utility tongs are sturdy and will hold up to lots of handling. The simple design makes them easy to use with one hand because they do not lock - they are perpetually ready to use. These dishwasher-safe tongs are a good value in this pack of twelve tongs.

These commercial-grade, stainless steel tongs are pretty nice! $28 for 12 pairs of tongs make these a great value as well. The steel is a good thickness, which makes grabbing food a breeze. 10” long is a good length for kitchen use (might be a little short for the heat of outdoor grilling). The vinyl coating on the handle provides decent grip, and some heat protection as well. These tongs do not have a lock on them. Not a dealbreaker, but without a lock, they’re not as compact when storing. Overall, these tongs are a nice addition to my kitchen utensils.

Built to Last and Really Comfortable to Use!
These tongs are seriously great. You can tell right away they are made from strong commercial grade stainless steel and built to last a long time. They feel really solid and the scalloped ends make it super easy to grab onto meat or anything else without it slipping.The vinyl coated handles are very comfortable to hold, even when you are using them for a long time. They also handle heat well and do not show any wear after being washed in the dishwasher a bunch of times. They feel sturdy enough for daily use in a busy kitchen without any worry.Getting a set of 12 at this price is fantastic. I would not think twice about ordering another set if I needed to, and I would definitely recommend them to my friends. Totally worth it.

Sturdy well made tongs!
Very sturdy tongs. I have thrown out at least 6 tongs that lock closed because the pin mechanism breaks so I tried these. The metal is a little thicker than my old ones, so they are heavier but I don’t see it being a problem. Heads up-when I got my order, it was a whole box of tongs! I thought I was ordering just one pair…

This is a riot - I thought I was ordering one set of tongs. It says in the title, and multiple times in the listing, that this is TWELVE sets of tongs but somehow I missed that. I needed one and now I have a dozen. I'm cracking up.That aside, these are really nice. Perfect size for stovetop cooking. Comfortable hand grip and I love the yellow, it stands out from my other utensils so I can grab them easily. They easily pick up bacon or steak, spring is loose enough for easy control. I believe they're dishwasher safe and cleaned easily. Good quality, good find, I just didn't need 12 of them.
