Really hard to rate after only a fews of recieving. Amazon should not send out requests for reviews the very next after receiving an time. But they do on everything. Ha! However, I like them so far. They are very sturdy, a little heavy. But I like that. Easy to cut, get, spread butter, jelly, etc... Long enough handle to reach to the bottom of jars. I recommend. A great value. How can you complain about FOUR spreader knives that cost less then $10!

These are a nice item to have with your kitchen flatware. They are not small like a butter knife, they are a nice size with a comfortable blade thickness. I find myself reaching for them all the time, particularly when making sandwiches. The wide top makes it easy to spread your condiment, and the sharp edge makes cutting it in half easier. It's handy for slicing cold butter, too. There are many uses, and they are a reasonable price.

As good a deal as you’ll ever find
I’ve bought numerous spreaders over the last 30 years. This is a fine steel blade and from what I can tell commercial grade quality. The handle is very sturdy and the unit looks and feels like a utensil that will look the same in 15 years. How can you go wrong with four spreaders at this price?

This is one of those products where I ask myself: How come you didn't buy this years ago? Answer: I have several different-sized and type spreaders. They are considerably smaller and less efficient than this spreader. They worked OK, but it got tiresome when trying to make a bunch of sandwiches or spreading on multiple items.Having to swipe several times to ensure coverage was annoying but not to the point of inspiring a purchase of something else. Then, at a friend's house, I saw something similar and saw how much faster and easier it was to use. Boom. I ordered.We use this multiple times daily in the house for cheese, dips, butter, various spreads, salad dressings, all types of condiments. On bread, on crackers, on food, on veggies, on fruit.It's just one of those little things that makes a kitchen workload easier, faster and more efficient.Appears to be sturdy and I really like the size (length) of both the handle and the actual spreader. Fits well in my hand. The spreader is neither too thin or too thick in terms of the material and the shape is such that it takes only a swipe or two to fully cover most items with whatever we are spreading.It's strong enough for butter that is not all that soft and great with our chunky peanut butter.What I really like is that it is very easy to use the edge of the spreader to get every last bit off of it and onto say bread or a cracker. Most important, it allow me to get total coverage on the corners of bread and crackers without breaking them or messing with the "surface."We handwash so can't comment on durability for a dishwasher.To me, this would make a great hostess gift along with a nice bit of cheese.Value for the price.
