My family owns a pizza place and we've been sick and tired of the low quality products at restaurant depot/jetro. Especially lately, the bearings on the rolling pins don't even last a month. So we came to Amazon seeking an alternative.We hand roll every pizza to order, so this thing gets real use. It's even been dropped a few times.Let me tell you, this thing is perfect. It's smooth as the day we got it and the handles don't shatter when it accidentally rolls off the table. The increased diameter makes it easier to roll and gives greater hand clearance. The non wood surface sticks less to the dough too, so you don't have to constantly add flour while rolling.I would highly recommend this product.

Excellent, but Really Big!
As the size of my pies increased (I now use a 12” pie plate), I needed a larger and sturdier rolling pin. This is it! Substantial and sturdy, it gets the job done while still allowing me hand control as I roll out my from-scratch pie dough. It would definitely be too large for a petite person or your aging grandmother, however.
