Very sturdy non slip coated round trays. I previously bought a rectangle tray for kitchen counter use and liked so much I bought these round trays for contemporary planter saucers.
I love my little tray. It's perfect for a few drinks or my soup and crackers. I also use it on an uneven or soft surface to set my beverages on so they're more stable and are less likely to spill.
I bought this to sit under my Berkeley water filter on a round end table that I bought to hold my Berkeley next to our coffee station. I am generally pleased with it. It is a good quality tray. For the purpose for which I bought it, I have two wishes: that it wiped off more easily, and that it would be just a little larger. But I say this only because of the Berkeley. It sits on a stand, and another inch would have been a better fit. Because the Berkeley is so heavy, I need to wipe the tray off, and the finish on the tray makes it harder (though certainly not impossible) to wipe clean. However, I would emphasize that these things do not mean that anything is wrong with the tray itself. It is a very good tray, and I would buy it, certainly, to carry things on.
This was great for our needs. I have an older friend that has her meals in the LR. Her dinner plate fits well and does not slip. Some may prefer the next size up so there is room beside the plate for napkin and silverware. But that would make it a little heavier.
I've been using this tray (and its companions in other sizes) since May 2016. LOVE the trays, BUT I am very DISAPPOINTED with their water-stained appearance after several uses; they don't remain a nice crisp, black color. I've tried everything, but cannot restore their original beautiful black surface (except when they are wet). Note: I wash by hand, they do NOT go in the dishwasher. I have to put a napkin or other 'cloth' on the tray to hide the ugly surface. Otherwise, they are sturdy; the variety of sizes meets all my needs -- they are perfect (worthy of a 5-Star rating), except for their appearance after a couple of uses. I welcome suggestions on restoring the original great black appearance!UPDATE-09/16/17: Still "Loving" these trays; use them every day. BUT, I still have not found a way to keep them from 'watermarking' and they look so grungy -- not the nice crisp, black surface they had the first week I got them. They 'stained' in that first week, and I have never been able to restore them. Use them only for in-home food /beverage trays; wash by hand. If anyone, or Manufacturer, can suggest a way to maintain the lustrous Black surface, please advise. BTW, they turn a beautiful Black when wet, but dry with white streaks.
This is an excellent high quality large nonskid tray, so useful and very strong. It washes well, looks great and handles heavy tasks. I use it daily. Absolutely love it.
