Small durable glasses
These cups remind me of the pizza hut red glasses but are much smaller. The cups are plastic and perfect for kids that are rough on cups these won't shatter and there's so many that you'll never run out. They're perfect for portioning drinks with sugar like orange juice. The plastic feels pretty durable and is easy to clean the red color doesn't fade after washing and they're overall fairly durable. The thickness of the cups is on the thinner size and I feel like a slightly thicker side would make drinking from it more comfortable.

Durable and Space Saving
Really pleased with these - from the restaurant-style look and feel, to the fact that they are sturdy and stackable, they are a winner. The material is thick and durable with a slightly textured feel that makes them easy to hold. Have put through the dishwasher many times with no issues - no cracking or fading so definitely dishwasher safe. Also have been dropped and they are break-resistant. Work really well for smaller glasses of juice and portion controls. The red color is deep and vibrant and I have not noticed any fading. A set of 72 - incredible value for money.

Cheap, not indestructible like real restaurant cups.
These are not the strongest kind of restaurant style glasses. Some of them are literally indestructible. These will handle a couple of falls onto concrete, but I can crack them in my hand. They are definitely on the cheap side. However, compare the price to the stronger versions and decide for yourself whether these will work for you.

Restaurant quality?? Not completely sold on that.These seem very light weight and unsturdy for the type of use a restaurant would require.That being said - we wanted these for a family gathering we will be having at the end of this year.Instead of the consumer intense 'red solo style' which fill your trash bin to overflowing at such events - we wanted to try something that might be more environmentally sensitive.Getting 72 of these per set meant we were happy to order them as that quantity should get us through each day of the weekend long event - expecting to need to collect and clean them at the end of each day's festivities.They only hold 8 ounces of fluid - perfect for our needs - for the kids - the spills will be smaller and consumption of sugary beverages will slow down.These cups should also reduce the amount of fluid left in the - nearly full cups - abandoned all over everywhere - kids having taken one sip and then forgetting how very thirsty they were in order to continue start their next adventure.The cups are round/oval and somewhat slick with just enough texture to assist the grip for the kids to hold onto them.They aren't transparent enough to look through and tell what sort of beverage is inside - but you can see if the beverage is a darker or lighter color - giving some clue for you.As for durability, as long as you're not throwing these against walls or dropping & stomping them with your shoes -they seem good enough for pool side, picnicks, kids parties, and similar.They are more sturdy than the 'red solo' style plastic cup and better than using glass where kids are involved.There seems to be some debate as to whether or not you can dishwasher them - I read the - materials and care - section half way down the page of the advertised listing which clearly states "hand wash only".This isn't a game changer for us even if we weren't planning to use our family's abundance of children who are of chore doing age for clean ups each night of our event.Teaches them responsibility and gives grown ups time to sit and chat amongst themselves.Overall I like these cups for the purpose we plan them for and also for every day use - they aren't going to last forever but then again - what is?
