Good quality, but obvious the designer never used the oven mitts

When I got these, I was expecting cheap items with poor performance. However, when I felt the towels, I knew they were way better quality than I expected. There were no care instructions, but I tossed them in the wash like I do all my towels and the color stayed and they came out fine. The pictures are after they have been washed.The oven mitts are waterproof on one side which would be fine if I was left-handed, but like most people, I'm right-handed. All 4 of the oven mitts are designed to fit the right hand. Which makes sense until you start using them. If you're reaching in to get something out of oven you pull it out with your LEFT hand and use your right hand to check the doneness. Then you grab a pot holder for your right hand and pull out whatever's in the oven. Or if you're holding the pan handle, your holding it with your LEFT hand and stirring with your right hand. They work OK on the left hand unless they get wet, then they are little better than using a single layer of a towel.So if you're going to have 4 oven mitts, at least 2 should be for the left hand.The apron is also nice, no pockets, but can fit larger chefs.
