More a Towel Rack that Pot Holder

I bought this to use as a pot rack, but as others have mentioned it is a bathroom towel rack. I planned on mounting so the bar was facing in the down direction and using the hooks to hang pots. I don't trust it would hold securely using the mechanism in place (the allen key and plate). I may drill holes in the tops of the mounting posts and use it that way. Still contemplating sending it back, but I do think it would hold if I mounted it the way I am thinking. It does look nice and the price point was good.

It was my intention to hang this in my kitchen, but it didn’t fit. I should have measured. So I hung it in my bathroom instead. It is, in fact, a refashioned towel bar. The word “bathroom” is stamped on the outside of the box when you open the package. That’s fine, this makes a great towel bar. It is easy to install, comes with regular and drywall screws. Once it’s up it looks great, very sturdy capable of holding any type of towel.
