Heated coffee mug
I am a nurse who works the night shift 13/14 hours a night. I usually leave the house at 4:30 PM and somewhere between 9 and 10 at night the battery will die and needs to be recharged. Very well made, all the other brands of heated cups I have tried only last a couple of weeks. The cup will hold almost 24 ounces of fluid. It is a great travel mug and fits well in my car. The only downside is it is quite heavy.

Nextmug Ultra The King of Heated Mugs
The Nextmug Ultra is Great. My mom and I have been using the Ember heated mugs for just over a year. However, my mom would say she wanted a larger heated mug that would keep the coffee hot for longer. Well I found the Nextmug Ultra larger and with a larger battery for extended heating. I purchased this for my mom and she was so happy and kept telling me to get one so I purchased one for myself. I like the color and metal construction for durability and for the size and extended heating duration compared to the 10 and 14 oz mugs this is a great value for the money and as a bonus fits in my cup holder in my car. It is a tad heavier than my smaller heated mugs but the benefits of more beverage and heated for much longer makes it a must buy for anyone that luv hot drinks all day.

Love this mug!
I love this mug! I have this size and the mug size. It’s so convenient at my desk, but also fits in my car cupholder. Because I have 2 of the Nextmugs, I have a charger for home and a charger for work.This size keeps drinks warmer longer because the battery is larger. It will almost hold a venti.It is a little heavy, but with the larger battery, that is expected. I also love that you have the travel lid option. My favorite!

Battery does not last
I only see the battery lasting a couple hours on Warm. The description says up to 7.2 hours on warm. The battery is dead after a few hours. Maybe lasts three. So I brought the charging base. Well, it shuts off the heat if I don’t move the cup every so often, so if I go to a meeting and come back, it’s off, my coffee is cold. It doesn’t retain temp very long, even with the travel top on it. There should be a switch to allow for auto off/on and the auto off should be increased to at least an hour. The charging base should be a USBC, not a 3mm. It just makes sense with being able to use the charging ports in today’s modern office settings.I personally think my batteries for this mug are defective. Especially given the mAh listed. My heating vest lasts longer on low than this mug does.After a few days, the battery life is getting worse.Today I played golf. By the 8th hole, the battery was dead on the warm setting. That’s less than two hours on a full charge.Either it’s defective, or they’re not accurate on their description.

Pros and cons
Pros: works well and it keeps your drink at the temperature you set and it’s very simple to use.Cons: I took off 2 stars because (as another reviewer mentioned), this is definitely a 20 oz mug- not 24 oz as advertised (I measured it). I bought it because I wanted a large capacity, heated tumbler/mug, so that’s disappointing. Last con, it’s heavy- I’m used to carrying a 40oz Stanley filled with water so I’m not new carrying heavier bottles and this one surprised me with how heavy this tumbler was empty. I’m sure it’s because of the heating mechanism at the bottom. It isn’t a dealbreaker for me, but keep that in mind if it’ll bother you.
