I Love, Love, Love these coffee mugs!
I like my coffee so hot I can just sip it without burning my tongue. With a conventional coffee mug, my coffee is just warm to room temperature by the time I finish it, so the last few sips are disappointing. I'd tried other insulated mugs, but they changed the coffee's flavor. I'd wanted to try double-wall glass mugs, but they were rather expensive for something I wasn't sure I'd like. I took the plunge and ordered these. I'm glad I did!These mugs keep my coffee hot longer. If I fill them with hot water, let them stand for a minute or two, then dump out the hot water and brew the coffee directly into the mug, my coffee stays hot and fresh to the last drop. Even with preheating the mug and brewing coffee directly into it, the outside never gets uncomfortably warm.After adding creamer, I usually microwave my coffee for 40 seconds to bring it back up to brewing temperature. Although the manufacturer recommends against microwaving these mugs, I tried it once with no problem. I decided not to tempt the fates by microwaving it repeatedly, and my coffee was hot enough without microwaving, anyway.I'm no hipster, and I don't keep up with fashion, but these mugs have an attractive appearance in my opinion. I like to watch the cream run down the inside of the glass and accumulate on the bottom, forming a light, creamy layer below while leaving a dark coffee layer above until I stir it.These mugs are dishwasher safe, and my dishwasher gets them sparkling clean every time. There is a slight concavity in the bottom of the outer layer that holds a few drops of water when it's upside down in the dishwasher. When I'm unloading the dishwasher, I tilt each mug 90 degrees, the water runs out of the concavity, and I put them in the cupboard right side up. These mugs appear to be made by expert craftsmen using high-quality materials. I expect they will last a long, long time.

Beautiful and Functional
These glasses are as functional as they are beautiful. I have a tea infuser made of the same type glass so I'm familiar with it. The clarity of this type of glass is outstanding. Pouring hot coffee into the glass I couldn't detect more than a hint of warmth on the outside and that was more likely from my hands cradling the glass and enjoying its handle-less feature. The smooth lip is in contrast to the sharp lip found on many modern glasses considered elegant. By chance, I was sorting some Holiday candy to put out and filled the glass with them and was intrigued with how festive it looked (see photo). Visually, the double wall structure of the glass adds dramatically to its appearance both empty and filled. And, it works perfectly with tea allowing you to enjoy the subtle colors of the tea while holding it as well as sipping from it. While not quite as much volume as my usual coffee mug, its nearly 12 oz size is fine for me. While I may still use my pure black mug for coffee in the early morning, I especially enjoy using this mug in the afternoon when I can savor both the contents and the beauty of it. It's become an afternoon treat for me to relax a bit when home and enjoy a moment of pleasure including taste, touch, and sight. One caution I'd like to add, though I really enjoy the handle-less style of this beautiful glass, you have to exercise care that it doesn't slip out of your hand especially when you're washing it or picking it up from a table.
