Zeropan Hybrid Nonstick 12.52 Inch Frying Pan
This review is for the Zeropan Hybrid Nonstick 12.52 Inch Frying Pan. For me, a 12 inch pan is my go to for pretty much everything. I have a 12 inch pan that just lives on my stovetop for this reason. So when I saw this 12 inch pan with the new technology, I was excited to try it out. My usual daily 12 inch pan is about 6 months old and comes from a big name brand and costs a bit under twice as much. However my old pan also comes with a lifetime warranty, so take that for what you will. It’s also the traditional non-stick as opposed to this more environmentally friendly version.I like the texture on this pan. It looks like mermaid scales. It’s also raised to the touch so I was very interested to see how non-stick it would really be. Last night, I cooked hamburgers in my usual pan. Today, I cooked the other two burgers in this pan. So equal comparison. Both were 93% lean ground beef straight on the pan, nothing added to prevent sticking.Both pans weight about the same. This made me a tad heavier, but barely. I’m not super pleased with how rounded the edges are. You only get about 9 inches of flat pan bottom on this 12 inch pan. So it is a bit more crowded. The nonstick was perfectly on par with the more expensive pan. It conducts heat very well. I want to say I got a better brown in the burgers in this pan. The old pan wins in clean up. Even though it’s 6 months old, it just needed running water to rinse clean. This pan needed a brush – mind you, not a scrubbing. It cleaned up extremely well with a very light brush under the water to get the bits off.So over all, I’m going to give it 4.5 stars. I think it’s worth it to pay more for one with a lifetime warranty if you can afford it. However, this does seem to be a great pan. I look forward to using it longer and seeing how it holds up. If this is the price point you’re looking to spend I would certainly recommend it. For that, I will round my 4.5 up to a 5 because Amazon doesn’t do decimals.

Heavy and well constructed
This pan is very well made and the quality is nice. Has a very flat bottom that should perform well on any cooking surface. (we have a gas range so that's all I was able to test on but it should be good for an induction range also) The non-stick coating is ok - not as good as a true PTFE coated but way better than even a good quality stainless pan, consider it a hybrid. I did have some discoloring on the sides as shown in the photos that don't appear to affect the cooking but it looses a star for that. The discoloring was from a high heat oil test so it may be ok outside of that extreme. This is not the same quality as our really expensive He&clad pans but its also 1/4 the price. I received this pan for testing and its decent, way better than most pans in this price range but not a super premier pan either. I would consider purchasing one just for the quality of craftsmanship.

Georgeous pan and works well too!
If I didn't even cook, but wanted a "display" kitchen to show off to my friends. I would definitely have THIS pan hanging over the prep area, along with some high end copper pans. This pan is beautiful! The entire outside is polished like a mirror, including the sculpted handle (which is all metal and oven safe). There are no manufacturers names or logos on the pan to interrupt the beauty of the finish. The interior of the pan is ceramic that has been laser etched into a wonderful shell patterned finish, and you can feel the etchings.Please note that the bottom of the pan is not just a flat slab, but angles down, so the true flat bottom surface is not as big as the pan size - my 10 inch pan has a flat bottom of about 8 inches. Please note that the handle is oven-safe metal, and will likely get hot.We found that it tended to sear or brown foods very nicely due to the etching. Sausage rounds sliced and cooked with grilled onions and bell peppers came out perfectly colored and cooked! No problems with sticking or cleaning issues at all.At this price point, I cannot think of any reason why I would not purchase this pan for myself, or as a nice gift!

Pretty pan that also works well!
This pan works really well. I tested it with my usual method, by cooking a cheesy quessaldilla in it without oil or grease. I was able to slide the quesadilla around on the surface and it did not stick. Of course, no matter what kind of pan you use, if you mess up and melted cheese slides out, it will stick. But, as I understand it, non-stick pans that stick when you have a gooey mess in them (like cheese or eggs) are not supposed to continue to be non-stick under those circumstances. The interior design is unusually pretty--rather like fish scales. The handle does not get hot when in use, which is also a nice feature. the only think I would have liked to be different is the fact that the corner edges of the pan are angled, not slightly rounded (which would have given slightly more space inside the pan), but this is not a big deal for me. Overall, a great pan at a fair price.

Used once for burgers and chorizo. It's more non-stick than my bare stainless steel pans, but not as non stick as my PTFE pans that I still use for egg dishes. I'll use it a couple more times and take some pictures before an updated and final opinion.

I really like the pattern to the non-stick interior, and the well-designed stay-cool handle.This is a great size and looks to be very well-made. Heavy duty pan
This pan is sturdy and heavy. It is built well and does an excellent job conducting heat through a non-stick surface. I cooked up eggs on it this morning with little to no sticking and then a steak in the evening. In both cases, the heat was conducted well enough to cook the food appropriately. The long handle is convenient and it does not conduct any heat, keeping it cool and safe to touch. Best part is it is dishwasher safe!
