The best pan set I ever had stands out not just for its durability but for its exceptional performance across a variety of cooking tasks. It’s definitely a a non stick pan set that works great! It’s scratch resistant, lightweight and works very well on my stove.
Finally pans that do as advertised! No oil needed and easy to clean. Before these I bought a set by Gotham Steel. Total disaster. Not just difficult, but impossible to clean. I had never heard of Hoo Jay till now, but I am sold. Very good pans for the price.
I have owned and used this set daily for a year. Overall I've been very impressed. They are still non-stick, and they work great. I have cleaned them per the instructions that came with them, I seasoned them when they were new and then 6 months later ( I'm going to season them again soon, about every 6 months). They still cook like new, meaning they are still nonstick. I haven't experienced any chipping. Heat distribution seems to be fine on my electric stove. Overall I would say this is a really good budget medium weight cook set.
I use these pans every day, starting with eggs in the morning and stir fry or other meats for supper. I have had them for a while now and haven't had any problems with them. Once I mistakenly left the pan on the stove with the gas burner still on and it was there for some time before I discovered it. I just washed it after it cooled and it is good as new. I hand wash them. Handles stay cool enough so as not to burn your hands. I love the fact that there are different sizes from small - to cook one fried egg, to fairly large to cook a one pan meal.
This 3 piece set is nice. Riveted handles and average weight for less expensive pans. I like the sizes in this set for quick small jobs. I have noticed you better use care to not use metal tools when cooking,because I have seen signs of scratching forming even with careful use of a metal spoon. Buy a silicon spoon and spatula and you should be good to go.
Great product, pans are wonderful. Easy to clean and non stick . Don’t need to spray these pans and the flipper it came with was great too
