This thing is awesome boiled spaghetti noodles took less than 15 minutes to bring water to a boil,I couldn't be more happy with this cook top being a 110 unit yet heating up fast like gas totally impressive.
Amazing electric stove. This one is the best. Many heat settings and works well. I tried several and this one outshines them all.
Used in workshops to heat materials. Efficient and works great.
Great for slow cooking without burning food or warping pans like induction will. Draw back is that it takes a very long time to heat up and a very long time cool down. Finish is hard to clean.
It will bring 12 cups of water to a rolling boil in 15 minutes. similar to the gas range. I don't have any use for all the settings (simmer, fry, etc), and find accessing them confusing. I just use the watts number control, I would prefer fewer buttons and lites and smaller unit. The ad originally said that minimum temp is 250 deg, though the unit says minimum 350deg. After I wrote to ask about this, they replaced the ad, and denied that it said that. iac, indicated temps are likely not reliable (like any hotplate) and I find that it simmers a small pot of food ok. Fan continues running for about 10 minutes after shut-off, supposedly to extend life of unit. Fan is not terribly loud. Too early to know about build quality. So far, I am happy with it.
