I bought this mug after breaking what I thought was a simular mug. When I received it , it was almost twice as big as the other mug.The other mug is about double the size of a normal mug. It is a nice mug. I plan to use it for soup.

Whether you're a meal-prepper or a ramen lover, these mugs are a balance of functionality and aesthetics.These 30 oz mugs are larger than your standard 12-16oz mug. They are perfect for a ramen or overnight oats (with toppings). The handle is large enough to get a comfortable grip, which is much needed when you're taking out from the microwave to the table.The included lids feature a vent hole to release steam, making them excellent for microwave reheating. They also help prevent splatters, keeping your microwave cleaner.The ceramic finish is typically high-quality with a modern look and unique color, minimalist look that fits well in both office settings and home kitchens. I bought this primarily to carry my oatmeal breakfast to work comfortably, when I don’t have time to eat at home. They are microwave safe and dishwasher safe (not the lid ofcourse)The reason I took away one star is because of the super heavy weight, not confident about the lid being 100% leak-free and price itself.I guess they should have another variant with slight lesser size and weight and that would bring down the price as well.

What I like:The product serves equally-well as a soup cup, and also as a huge capacity hot chocolate mug!I absolutely love the color I ordered (the Copper Rim w/lid). The mug is highly aesthetically-pleasing with its earthy, old-world stoneware glazed appearance.The oversized "ear" or handle provides for an assured grip, with plenty of room for a safe grip.The lid is of very good quality, as well. I personally don't like putting any plastic, or plastic-like materials into the microwave (just a personal thing), but it's my understanding that the lid can be used in microwave, but they advise to keep the the buckle "loose" when heating in microwave. They further state to be mindful of heating times, etc.I truly love this product so much that I won't let anyone else use it or wash it, as I want to keep it pristine for years to come!It really does "magically" keep things hot, due to it's highly quality, thick-walled design.Overall, I'm totally satisfied with the product.What I don't like:They admit that the lid is not airtight, so I'd also presume that also means it's not leakproof. However, I don't care so much about that, as to me, that only means use care if ever heading out the door for traveling, being sure not to fill too high, nor place it somewhere that it may tip. I only use it at home, so no worries. Plus, despite not being airtight, I feel the lid fits securely enough that it does a fine job of blocking-out any weird odors in fridge that could otherwise negatively impact the taste of the mug's contents. The lid is also good to have, as it guarantees that I won't being drinking any airborne fur from my husky!I am positive that I would order this item again, and probably will, as I'd like to have it the Slate Blue color, as well.
I already own a couple of sets of French soup bowls with handles, but none of them are this large and have lids. That was the main reason I grabbed this. I also really like that it’s safe for the fridge, freezer, and microwave. Being able to freeze soup in a portion that fits the bowl to then reheat is perfect for me.Visually, this one stands out in a good way. All my other handled soup bowls are plain white, and while they’re fine, this one's definitely the prettiest of the bunch. It stands out from the other bowls for sure.That being said... unfortunately, the price is a little too steep for my blood. Especially for just the one bowl. I really can't justify spending almost $22 for a single bowl just because it has some color and a lid. So I'm dropping one star for value.Otherwise, I'm happy with it because it's pretty and a generous size. It will make it easy to distinguish which is my bowl (to keep on a lower shelf so I can reach it at all times). which is especially nice because I never finish my food, so this makes it easy to store (or freeze) and reheat later.
This time of year, I'm making lots of hearty dishes that are great to reheat, stews, soups, and chili, and my husband will eat a LARGE bowl of each. Now we have a bowl that is perfect for supersized servings of food.This bowl is ideal because I can just set up a serving when I'm putting food away after dinner, put the lid on it, and they he can microwave it whenever he's ready. All he has to do is pop open the vent and microwave it. I love that it has a handle on it, making it easier to get it out of the microwave without burning your fingers.Both parts are dishwasher safe. The white bowl was my choice because the color goes with everything and the crockery is well made. I expect this to be a kitchen staple for years to come.I'll just stick with the one because the price is a little steep, but considering that there's just one person in the house who eats that much food in one sitting, we'll be fine.
