Very Useful Heated Mug for Daily
This Mug is very practical and thoughtfully designed. I drink black tea and herbal teas regularly, and this mug is especially useful for controlled brewing and keeping my drink at a stable temperature while working.The package includes a stainless steel mug, a stainless steel infuser, and a vacuum-sealed protective lid for easy carrying. Well designed and functional cup for serving hot liquids for a considerable length of time.
I have three of these mugs and the charging base illumination is completely different between them. One is bright and the other one is so dim that you cannot tell if it's on or not. The third one is right between the other two in brightness.???. The temperature control on the cup is too sensitive and should be placed higher on the cup. Both my husband and I turn off the mugs all the time while we are drinking from them. The menu's are easy enough to figure out without the manual and the charging plate is almost as easy. I am not sure if it's 14Oz or 16Oz, but it's a good size for me. It's pretty and well designed. The base controls are easy once you get the hang of it. The ONLY things that bother me is that the seal fits so tightly that the lid comes off when you open it AND if you are right-handed, I keep accidentally activating the menu with my thumb and turning the cup off. The battery is large enough to keep the cup at temperature most of the day. The charger is efficient and doesn't get warm, I did not see a UL logo on the device for US markets.

Well-designed, and excellent support
The mug itself seems to be well-built and very well-insulated, in addition to being easy to clean due to the use of stainless steel. The lid uses plastic, but again seems well-built. The coaster seems physically robust, particularly compared to the charging coaster from a similar Ember product that I used to use, and whose pins tended to physically fail.The charging coaster that came with my unit did fail (electronically; the unit was physically intact), and Nuwave doesn't yet offer the coaster by itself as a replacement part for separate sale -- but the company as represented by Perla S. surprised me by sending a new complete box (mug, coaster, and charger) at no cost to me with instructions to just ship them back my original bits using the prepaid shipping label. I haven't had the replacement for that long yet and thus cannot truly be certain that it'll last and that the first failure was a fluke, but this does suggest a high degree of confidence in their product.

I am so enjoying this Mug!
Love this mug! Keeps my beverage at a great temperature for a long time. Got busy this morning and had hardly drank my coffee. Still hot 2 hours later. Now, that was nice. So glad I grabbed me one of these mugs. Right now I am having a delightful cup of hot Peppermint tea brewed in my mug and staying as warm as I want it. Easy to use and clean. Exceptionally well made. I expected nothing less from NuWave! I personal like the weight of the mug. Don’t want something flimsy that I have to worry about it getting turned over. I wondered if I would really use it that much and the answer is YES I will definitely be using this more than I originally thought. Way to go NuWave! Great job.

except for not working, it's an excellent mug - really it's elegant and had potential
i bought this mug (for $125) because the ember has a notorious app which i wanted to avoid. the 1st day was fine. my coffee stayed at 150F (i prefer a bit higher but np). i lightly washed the mug with dish soap and sponge and put it away.the 2nd day all the lights and messages came on as before, but my coffee temp slowly dropped. it was no longer heating. i read manual, watched videos, did troubleshooting, but the heating part was dead. i went to send it back, and the price was now $199. had to call amazon to get an actual replacement - not the normal return-rebuy-refund. that took extra work, but it finally worked. i didn't have to pay the extra $75.i got my 2nd mug 2 weeks later, and again, it worked fine heating my coffee to 150F - for 6 days. on day 7 the heating element was dead - again.if the thing had worked, you would have seen a stellar review because it's a beautifully-designed mug, and i really wanted it to work. i hate reheating my coffee after savoring it slowly. dunno if i got 2 mugs in 2 bad batches, but i don't have time to try a 3rd time. it's back to ceramics and microwaves for me.i would also like it if the temp would always be displayed. it shows 150F (target temp) for a second and then your coffee's actual temp (say 145F) for another second, and then it goes away. i would have wanted to see my temp until empty - at least display it while it's sitting on the plugged in base - which is all i wanted.what i really want in a heated mug: is just a non-app, non-heated-off-the-base mug. i want this quality design on-the-base-heated mug. i don't need to take my coffee mug around. i don't need a battery in my mug. i just want to use a heated one on the base. those types are called "warmers", and the ones i've seen look cheap and non-elegant. i wish someone would make such a mug. while i'm wishing, i also want 16oz - no less and a dial that i can set for 150-175F.
