I feared that this bag might look cheap when it arrived but I was so wrong. It's beautifully made. The fish are embroidered in a kind of nubby stitch which gives it great texture. I don't usually go for a graphic tote but this one isn't juvenile looking at all. The blue + red is also a perfect combination together. This bag looks much more expensive than it actually is. If you're on the fence, go for it.
My teenage niece requested this as a birthday gift and she really is happy with it. It is trendy and she loves the design.

This ocean-themed tote bag is perfect for summer. The canvas feels sturdy and durable, and the design is really cute and fun. It’s a great size for the beach, shopping, or carrying books, and I love that it’s reusable and eco-friendly. Easy to clean and comfortable to carry, it’s a bag I reach for all the time.
I love a good tote bag–frankly, I have too many of them and have placed a moratorium on collecting any new ones. However, this one looked especially unique with its embroidered design, and I felt compelled to make an exception.I chose the seahorse design since I’ve always been fond of seahorses, and the design looks just as beautiful in person as it does on the page. I love the extra dimensionality that has been given to it with the use of different types of threads: The green and red seaweed in the front uses a different technique from the rest of the embroidery which kind of resembles the little loops that make up a towel, though the thread itself is beautifully soft and more delicate-looking than a typical towel. The rest of the design has been rendered using what look like knit stitches. The entire thing is sewn right into the canvas so it’s on there for good, and it really makes an impression in person since it covers the entire front of the bag.The bag itself has a 3 ¼” gusset so it will hold plenty of items. The strap is 1 ⅜” wide which makes it very comfortable to wear over the shoulder. The magnetic closure button has a good hold and is easy to open and close. It’s nice to have a tote bag with some kind of closure at the top to keep things from falling out in case it tips over.The small pocket in the top of the bag has a total measurement of 7 ¼” x 5 ⅝”, though the zipper is set in from the 7 ¼” height. From the bottom of the zipper the height of the pocket is about 5 ¾”. It fits my iPhone 14 Pro easily enough, and there is space for other items to be stashed in there. At this point I’ve used it to transport a crafting project. I needed to carry yarn, stuffing, and some sewing needles and thread. There is plenty of space for the yarn and everything in the main bag, and the smaller pocket was able to keep smaller items from disappearing into the bottom.In addition to crafting supplies, this will work very well for outdoor days or weekend trips. I’ll be glad to show it off since it is so pretty and unique.
This tote is absolutely amazing! The pattern is not just beautiful and eye catching, but very well done. The fabric is thick. There's lots of attention to detail that shows. The size makes it quite versatile. I've been using it for a few months without any issues. It's made surprisingly durable and I hope it will last awhile. It is excellent value and would also make for such a fun gift. The little zipper works smoothly.
