And it keeps the butter at the best temperature for spreading, not to soft and not to hard.My problem has been that I keep my home at 63 degrees and the butter has been to hard to spread. I don't know how the butter is a better temp in the water well, but it is and I love it!

Beautiful but it gets stuck a lot

This butter keeper is so beautiful, I love the look of it! It’s a great and unique addition to my kitchen. It cleans well and stores one stick of butter perfectly. The butter stays fairly firm but mush softer than from the fridge. This is my first butter bell though so not sure if this is the typical firmness or specific to this one being marble or something. My only issue, and it’s a bit of a frequent one, is that you have to align the top perfectly or it gets stuck going in or out. The other day I had a hard time getting it unstuck. I wish I could use it without having to worry every time that I’m going to get it stuck. I get that it’s natural stone but I think quality control should be a bit better to make sure the fit is correct at all angles.
