Beautifully made, self opening pour spout works reliably and doesn't drip. Easy to clean and refill. Glass container is sturdy borosilicate type glass. Available with different colors for coding without labels. Excellent overall.

Everyone in my household loves it. It's easy to use and no mess. They don't have to hear me saying to clean the oil spills and I love not seeing the mess that I always had with other dispensers
Don't be fooled by my 4 star review. It would be a 4.5 if that was possible. The dispenser is an excellent product, especially for the non-American market. I am a fairly skilled cook (not professional but I do a great deal of cooking for large groups and also multi-course meals). I use quite a bit of olive oil and, also, peanut and sesame oils. The glass feels heavy and well balanced. And it is very clear. I like that because my other oil dispensers are metal with plastic insides or not clear glass (mostly for flavored vinegars including apple cider, balsamic, garlic, and rice). It is difficult to see how much is inside those containers. Also, all of those containers are handwash. This one, once I have used up all the olive oil, I can clean in the dishwasher, eliminating oil buildup and fingerprints. Yes, I could handwash more but why should I when the dishwasher does it better? Now to my quibbles. I have 3 pictures listed below. The first quibble is that, on the box, there is a great deal of text in Chinese but none in English. Per Google translate, it discusses the benefits of borosilicate glass (what the container is made of). Borosilicate glass is what Pyrex used to be made of. It is free of harmful ingredients like lead, phthalates, and BPA. Pyrex stopped using it, claiming that soda-lime glass (what they use now) breaks less, is more environmentally friendly, and cheaper. Cynical me says that the last claim is the real reason, my new Pyrex breaks more frequently than my old Pyrex. Also note that the instructions warn the user to only put in edible oils, inferring it is not to be used for car lubricants. Second, the measurements are only in milliliters (mls). Great for people outside the US and people who cook with mls (all my baking is done with mls or oz if possible, more exact than cups). The typical cook in the US uses ounces, tea and tablespoons, and cups. One TBSP equals .068 mls, 59 mls is a quarter cup, etc. So the mls measurements on the side of the glass are not really helpful. The US cook will either have to eyeball it or measure in another instrument. This defeats the single handed use of the dispenser, although the automatic open and close makes pouring a little bit easier (except for small amounts). The other little quibble that I have is that the lettering could be bolder (like the name of the manufacturer on the bottom). i have a black granite countertop. The lines virtually vanish. Finally, I cannot tell if the lettering will wear off - either with handwashing or dishwashing. If it does, I will amend my review.
