Very nice sharp knives!
I love how heavy and sharp these are. We have had them for a little over a month. They have been through the dishwasher a few times, mostly I hand wash them because they are so sharp. They feel very sturdy in your hand. The grip on them is nice. The price was amazing! They are a larger steak knife than most I feel like, but they are so nice. The quality has been great.Edit: We have had these now for 6 months. I regularly wash them in the dishwasher with no issues. Great knives! I love them!

Great knives for their price range
I really wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this set of knives; they are a great price, and I wondered if the price might be an indicator of the quality of the knives. I was impressed as soon as I opened the package and handles these knive. The knive have a great feel when in my hand, and are of a good, solid weight. Because some reviewers have complained that the knives rust when put in the dishwasher, I handwash these knives. These knives are easy to wash.The knives are sharp, easy to use, and durable. I believe they will last a long time. I will recommend these to friends and family if they need knives.

I Like ‘Em
I don't know that these Oneida Contour Steak Knifes are really 5-star steak knives, but so far I think that I really like them.I originally purchased the Oneida Performance Stainless Steel Steak Knives. I liked the simple design, and I preferred the stainless steel. However, they were lightweight, short in length, and basically too wimpy; at least for someone with larger hands (e.g. average adult male). So I returned those for these.I know nothing about knives, or steak knives, or cutlery in general, but I just wanted a dozen new knives and be done with it. Are there better steak knives out there, probably, but I wouldn't know. My initial impression is that these will work well. And they seem pretty darn sharp. According to the box, these are part of Oneida's "Restaurant Series."These knives have a nice heft to them. I don't throw knives, but holding these, and the way they are weighted, I sort of feel like they would be good to throw, like maybe you'd see in a circus act or something. They just feel good in your hand.One odd thing was that after I set up the return for the stainless, Amazon came back with a warning saying that these were returned all the time. Like asking: do you really want to buy these? Amazon typically has poor product results based on your search terms, instead pushing sponsored items and others they can make more profit on. But still, I had never seen Amazon suggest I didn't buy something. Weird.Anyway, if you bought these, they are easy to assess and return if you want. They come in a fancy box so all you have to do is flip up the lid, and take one out of the foam to see if you like them or not.
