I purchased and returned several 20-piece sets of silverware before I found Oneida Moda. All of them were too short, too light, and did not fit my hand. My hand is probably average in size. The Oneida Mode is the weight, length, balance, and they fit my hand great. The up curve at the top of the handle really feels good to hold. They are worth every penny in my opinion, and I am particular with purchases of any kind.

I was really impressed with this silverware set. Everything feels solid in hand, the weight is good, and the finish looks great. It was exactly what I needed to replace a mismatched, cobbled-together collection that I’d accumulated over the years after multiple moves.The design is simple and clean, and it pairs nicely with the set of plates I’ve had for years. I ended up liking it so much that my sister picked up another set for me, which let me finish out a full service for eight.Overall, this was a great upgrade and a solid value. I’m very happy with how it looks and feels in daily use.
This flatware set from Oneida has been a great addition to our kitchen drawers. It closely matches an existing set I have that has lost pieces over the years. Eventually, I should replace outright but wanted to stretch it a bit more.The silverware has a heavy feel to it. Each piece is very shiny! The heavy weight makes it feel very durable. I'm hoping the mirror finish does not scratch up easily. We have ran it through the dishwasher a few times and so far so good! No noticeable scratches or rust after a few weeks.The set has a mixture of sizes, personally, I always go for the smaller fork and spoon while my other half likes the large pieces so it works out well for us. The butter knife has a light serration to it so will cut things like veggies, etc as long as they are a little soft. Handles are easy to hold and feel smooth.
This flatware feels upscale, substantial, and balanced right out of the box. It’s crazy how you can tell just by holding it that it’s not the inexpensive stuff from a Big Box store.The polish is so perfectly done that this set, Oneida’s Moda pattern, has a mirror finish. I added a photo of it and you can see things in my room like the ceiling fan, my phone, and the TV reflected in the spoon.You don’t notice the objects reflecting when the table is set. It just looks clean and sparkly.The pattern on this can easily fit with a huge variety of tableware. It’s minimalist so it will especially go with a similar style for plates, but it’s not limited to that.So besides appearance, this flatware also functions beautifully. Our kid uses this and the fact it’s still perfect tells me it’s scratch resistant. For all its loveliness, it’s remarkably durable.
Oneida Silverware Set, Moda Mirror 20-Piece Flatware Set, Service for 4/I needed a decent set of silverware for a vacation home, and these are perfect. I like the simple clean lines, and they have an elegant look. They are sturdy, and don't bend easily, which is great for ice cream. I am expecting that these will last for many years. The knife does not have any serrations, so is not the best for cutting meats, but it has a nice large surface area for spreads.
