Not true to size

These mats are of good quality but beware these mats are NOT true to size. I ordered 16" wide rolls and they were 16.25" and the 17" measures 17.30" so not true to size also the ends of each roll were not cut square which caused me to run short on material due to order exactly the amount I needed to complete my project.

overpriced liner at time of review, doesn’t meet own specs

This review is for a roll of liner sold as Amazon ASIN B0FW2XTDCP by seller ONREVA.This liner is a thick rubbery material, black in color. One side has a smoother diamond-shaped weave design, the other appears to be a tighter grid pattern. Although they indicate the weave is the bottom, I prefer the look and used it with this side up. Both textures would be suitable for use in a tool drawer. The color is uniformly black, and the patterns are consistent and unbroken.The listing is confused, indicating both 3mm and 4mm thickness for the material. Neither is correct and both overstate the thickness by a significant degree. My digital caliper reports at the thickest it is 2.78 mm thick (7/64 inch in quaint units). The thickness varies quite a bit and I got readings as low as 2.30 mm thick (less than 3/16 inch). This is thinner stuff than advertised.At a listed price of about USD$33 for only 18 feet, this liner is not presently a great value. That's only about six drawers. Even the coupon offered only reduces the price to slightly over USD$31. Similar solid foam liners available at Amazon are two-thirds this price per foot, and the perforated variety (allowing draining) is about half price. I find it hard to recommend this liner product.

Easy to make clean cuts with razor blade. Heavy density foam w/just the right thickness for a liner

I have the thicker version of this for my tool bench. This liner is similar, just thinner at 3mm. I see it comes in both 3mm and 4mm, the thickness doesn’t really matter when used as a liner. This 3mm has the same density and my heavier tools sit nicely on it without causing any indenting. The mat is simple to cut with a razor blade for a clean install. There is a textured pattern on one side, it is more for looks, than any purpose. You can use with the pattern or blank side up. The black color makes the chrome tools easy to see. However if you have black pliers, etc, then you may want a different color.This is a well made, heavy density foam that supports tools well and protects the drawers from scratches and rust. Well worth the money to keep my tools and box looking good.
