Very nice drawer liner. The red color (wish they made blue) is a nice contrast to make small tools in a full drawer easier to find. It is 1/8" thick and does a good job of preventing tools from sliding around and will not slide and fold under tools. Easy to cut and looks good.
There are lots to say about the good side of this liner. It is just as thick as advertised; the color is bright and bold. Once it is in the drawer It stays put. Tools do not slide back and forth, even with heavy drawer movement. My last liner had quite an issue with tools not staying put when you closed the drawers even a little hard. Not so with this liner, tools stay put, almost to a fault. If you have lots of tools in a short space, you may find it a little more difficult to pick them up as they do not slide on this liner. Sort of a double-edged sword a bit there. The only thing I have to say about the liner that is not quite as positive as the rest of this review is about cutting it.Try as I might using T-squares, metal rules, hard wood levels to cut against. I could never get the material to exacting measurements I wanted out of it. The pieces would end up out of square, an eighth of an inch too long or too short. something. I had a lot of drawers to do, finally I had to live with it. But then I noticed in the drawers that had that 1/8-inch space at one end or the other mostly disappeared once tools were laid up on it. Go figure. So don't sweat the small stuff like I did. Go with the flow and you end up with nicely lined drawers.Took me two weeks to complete the task. As I matchlessly cleaned the toolbox drawers and tools before the liners when in. They haven't been that clean and nice looking for, well for every. Because the old liner was always that black stuff that a certain tool vender who shall remain nameless sells. This is much nicer, makes tools more visible and keeps them in place.
This is great for mechanics or someone that uses their tools often. Easy to cut and the thickness is great
I used this is my snap on tool box. Good quality material with embedded mesh. I cut the liner to fit each drawer using a straight edge. Red is very red! I highly reccmend this product.
This is a great product. When the drawers close hard everything stays in place. I have a drawer with nothing but hammers and dollys. Probably 30 of each. Nothing slides around and the liner stays in place. I did clean the drawers with brake parts cleaner then glass cleaner so the paint had a chance to grip with the liner. Very happy with the results.I cut them with my sheet metal jump shear and they came out perfect. They fit snugly in each drawerThe only negative.... the liner has a smell that isn't great. I cant put my finger on the exact way to describe it but it definitely is a bit strong. I am hoping that it lessens in the next few weeks.I will put a little tree in each drawer if it doesn't calm down. Otherwise this is a great product.
Great product, but don't buy red unless you clean every tool spotless before you put it on it. It was my fault, I should have bought black. Great quality, but really think it over before you buy RED.
