Great tool box liner in a long roll to make custom mats for your tools and more

This is a roll of thick, durable mat material that you can cut to fit for lining tool drawers and more. It is easy to cut to the right size needed. Once in place, tools stay in place and they do not rattle around. I've also used this material to line a compartment in my RV and it works well as padding and protection there as well. The material is not cheap so getting a 30" wide roll that is 30' long seems reasonable.

The tool box liner worked perfectly on my rolling Craftman toolbox. The mat does lay down flat after cutting it to size. It was fairly easy to do with a razor blade. It works well to keep the tools in place with its slip resistant texture. It is a very good thickness and is not made cheaply. This is an excellent value for this product.

This roll of material is exactly 30-inches wide and it is said that the product is thirty (30) feet long. The 30-inch width makes this product perfect for cutting and fitting exactly into my new tool box drawers and as a cover for the open area in the top of the new tool box. I am hoping that the use of this product in the top of the new tool box will prevent the painted metal surface from getting scratched over its life.This product is 4mm thick (approximately ⅛ of an inch) and it has a resilient, cushioned feel to it. So in theory, it can prevent damage to the tool box drawer’s surface and to the tools themselves. The color is a dark black color and the front surface, this is the surface that will be toward the tools or work surface, has a fine grid line lightly embossed into the surface. The back surface, that is the surface towards the metal drawer or the bench surface, has a square bumpy pattern deeply embossed into the material. This pattern provides a cushioning effect between the foamed rubber material and the metal surface.Information on the product’s Amazon page says that this product is a PVC rubber material. This should make the product reasonably resistant to oil, grease, and some chemicals that might be present on tools placed on the material. The material will definitely be waterproof. I am hoping to begin planning the cutting of the material soon to fit into my new tool box. The material should be easy to cut, but I want to make sure that each and every piece is cut accurately. So, I will be doing measurements, creating drawings, and measuring again several times before cutting anything. I do like this product.

Really great item

This is a really great product. I would suggest cutting this with a razor blade to get a nice smooth finish instead of a jagged cut, you might get with some scissors, as this is a bit thicker. It's heavy enough that it lies flat under its own way and really is slip resistant as nothing shifts once you put it in a drawer or on a table. Definitely does a great job of protecting tools and works exactly as it should. It is a bit pricier, but you're definitely getting what you pay for with this and it'll definitely last years and years of use, so I would highly recommend it.
