This bread knife is beautiful and sharp! It will become an amazing addition to my chef's knives and will be used to cut my sourdough bread in the nice even slices I have been looking for. When I opened the package, a piece fell out onto the counter and it was a piece from the protective sleeve. It is broke (chipped off), but not a problem for me as my knives are on a magnetic holder.
Awesome bread knife! The 10 inch is pretty long but still fits in my knife block. Slices right through bread, bagels, etc. Very affordable as well and I like that it is all one piece so it should hold up for a lot of years.
Excellent knife. Real sharp. Got it to cut loves of bread. Goes through like butter. Stainless serrated blade comes with a scabbard. Well made and real sharp. Good value. The blade is long. Not like the short blades that are with most cutlery sets. Good for bread sticks and not much else.
I can't say enough about this bread knife. I was frustrated with my bread - it was my knife! It slices through my homemade white bread like a dream. I will probably purchase some for gifts. It fits my hand well and grip is comfortable. It cleans up nicely and I also like the safety cover.
THIS BREAD KNIFE IS BEAUTIFUL, AND IT CUTS LIKE A DREAM. THE COVER IS HEAVY ENOUGH TO PROTECT THE KNIFE I LOVE IT!
Love this knife! The only thing I don't like is that the red handle does not match the red in the picture. The red that actually came is a flat, sort of orangy red, rather than the deep, pretty red in the picture. I don't hate the red enough to exchange it for black or silver, which I should have gotten in the first place instead, but I am taking off a star because of the color being close to accurate. Otherwise, this knife is a dream to use. It's my first really sharp bread knife in over 20 years, and I didn't even realize just exactly how dull my old knife was, until I got this. Slices through italian bread almost as well as butter. I'm so glad I got this.
