Nice and Large!!!
The Oster Thornwood 18 x 12 Inch Acacia Wood Cutting Board with Juice Grooves – Durable, Heavy Duty Chopping Board for Kitchen Prep is a wooden and large cutting board that will become a workhorse in your kitchen. This cutting board is gorgeous - and I think it killed me to put the first few marks into it when cutting my vegetables. I will confess, it was so pretty that I left it wrapped for quite a while, because I hate those first few marrs with a knife. This board is gorgeous and one of the things I did (and still do) is oil it. Yes, it's a basic maintenance with wooden cutting boards, but they appreciate the care - which really isn't that hard. Not only does it keep the board in good working condition, but it brings the natural beauty our of the wood. Great board!!!

Great, sturdy cutting board
I never knew cutting boards could be so pretty! This one arrived and even in the wrapper it looked beautiful. It's very smooth and has some serious weight to it. Works just as it should. The quality is very nice, though I do think it needs more oil than it came with. Easy enough to clean in the sink and then set aside to dry, though it is a bit big for my dishrack. Overall, I think it's a great value just needs a bit more oil to keep the wood nice.

3 stars? 5 stars? It depends
This is a high quality, good looking and sturdy cutting board. However, it does have its flaws.ProsReal Wood!Thick with nice wide slats which are glued together seamlessly. Juice grooves catches all liquid which prevents messing up the counter. It appears that it will last a long time with the proper care as with any cutting board.Price offers a great value compared to more expensive brands.ConThe surface of the wood arrived quite rough. It doesn’t seem like the sanding process was complete, or they need to finish it with a higher grit sandpaper.I sanded the board myself and finished it with mineral oil and beeswax. It came out great. So if you’re willing to put a little bit of effort into it, you’ll have a 5 star board. If not you’ll have a 3 star cutting board.

Get a more expensive one this is not functional
The wood came completely unfinished, I had to sand and oil it myself. Unfortunately it doesnt end there, ive had it for less than a month and it has warped into a half circle, it is now completely useless, I bought it for like 15 dollars I think im just going to shell out for one that wont get destroyed

Sheds wood fibers
At first glance, this cutting board is a lovely dark finish. It has grooves to catch any juice or liquids from the foods that you were cutting. After opening the plastic seal, there is a paper with care instructions attached to the cutting board, which had a very strong adhesive that was quite difficult to get out. The wood surface is also slightly rough and there were small wood fibers coming off on my hands at first. After the initial (although long) cleaning it did smooth out a bit. These wood fiber have not transferred to my food as far as I am aware.

Really Nice, Solid Cutting Board
This is a great cutting board. The size is just right and gives me plenty of space for chopping veggies or slicing meat. The acacia wood looks beautiful and feels sturdy but not too heavy to move around. The juice grooves are actually useful and help keep things from spilling all over the counter when I'm working with anything juicy. I've been hand-washing it and drying it right after, and it's held up really well so far. I gave it a quick oil treatment when I first got it, and it made the wood look even nicer. All around, this is a solid board. It looks good and gets the job done.

Arrived damaged by shipping glue, cuts easily and requires too much care.
Packaging material GLUED to the WOOD, impossible to get off without damaging the finish. Totally unnecessary for shipping, would consider this a decent product if it didn't arrive in this condition. Also, the oil finish is weird, and I'm just not convinced that its food safe. Overall feels almost unfinished and the wood cuts easily compared to other wood cutting boards I've had.
