Roomy capacity, easy to clean & store, and no unneeded attachments -- what's not to like?

I've used this a couple of times now to chop vegetables for various dishes, and have been impressed with this chopper's capacity and ease of cleaning. Unlike a previous chopper which had a similarly-sized compartment to hold the chopped veggies, but had become deformed and unusable during shipping, this chopper seemed made of a much firmer plastic, yet was neither brittle nor too flexible, so it's holding up well. There are cup markings at one end of the container; however, I haven't yet needed to use them, as I have yet to be faced with a large enough chopping job to fill the container. The cutting grids are obviously sharp, but are relatively easy to remove without touching the blades. The top grid which pushes the veggies through the blades is also removable (a feature previously-owned choppers have lacked), and the comb and brush included with this chopper, combined with running water at the kitchen sink, do an excellent job of getting both the cutting grid and the pusher grid clean. Other vegetable choppers have more attachments, but the 2 cutting grids which came with this model were all I really needed. I had an inexpensive food processor in the house, but donated it to charity after I received this chopper, as the chopper is easier to store and get out quickly to use when needed, and therefore is a quite satisfactory alternative for my modest food processing needs. Highly recommended!

Not up to the CHOP, another waste of time.

It takes so much pressure to chop an Onion. We tried 1/2 in thickness and less and still it takes more pressing down than most Adults have to give! Upon our second try a crack appeared in the clear holding fixture of this chopper. The plastic is the hard lightweight clear variety that once stressed it crumbles. Right on down to the inner design which has so many spaces for food to be trapped. Even the assembly is poorly designed. Overall its Horrible product. My husband can lift two 80 lb bags of concrete across the yard and this device took much of his strength to chop one slice of ONION! Thin at that!
