The lid works just like the original, I have an extra container but no lid for that one, so I ended up getting this--works for both my extra bowl and the original one. It's annoying how the original parts cost so much, so it's nice to get these ones when they fit well and feel sturdy for a reduced price.

This was pretty good! It does fit and does engage the security tab, but it feels just very slightly off. For the cost vs manufacturer replacement, it is totally worth it.
After detecting some problems with my ice cream maker, I wanted to try out this replacement lid. I wasn't sure if the original lid was the cause of the issue because the blade had begun spinning freely on its own and occasionally caused the machine to shut down. In order to rule that out, I choose to test this one. As soon as it arrived, I was struck by how much it looked and felt like the original lid. It took only a few seconds to install, and the fit was flawless. It feels sturdy and well-made, with no visible traces of shoddy molding or sharp edges. Between this and the original piece that came with my machine, I couldn't discern any significant differences. Additionally, it creates a tight seal and locks into position firmly. It turns out that the lid wasn't the cause of my blade problem, as I discovered after using it a few times that it still happens. I can now declare with confidence that this replacement works exactly as it should, and that at least helped me understand the issue. Additionally, it is dishwasher safe and helps prevent crevices where dirt can gather, making cleaning a breeze. Overall, this is a good choice if you need a new lid because your old one broke, warped, or simply worn out.
I didn't need this as my Ninja Creami came with one, but I got a second one as I have two pint containers and I can wash a set at a time without mixing them up or looking for a singe part to make it all work. Everything fits as it should it all locks into place. Only time will tell if this grade of plastic holds up to the friction of the blade spinning and moving past the outer bowl lid. Apart from there not having the same markings as the OEM Ninja Creami lid, I couldn't tell which was which when comparing them side by side.Make sure you buy the right size for your model of Ninja Creami as they're not all compatible.
As a family of seven ice cream lovers, our Ninja Creami gets a lot of us, often multiple times a day. Since no one ever agrees on a flavor, we make multiple batches daily. The only hiccup in our system came when we discovered old ice cream had gotten trapped inside our original lid, leading to an unpleasant odor.That's when we all agreed on one thing. We needed a second lid to keep our production line moving. I ordered this replacement lid for our NC300 model, and it's been great! Now, the next person in line doesn't have to wait for the first lid to be washed. We can just snap in the paddle and go.This new lid is a perfect fit. It's been used several times, doesn't leak, and works exactly as it should. There are only three minor cosmetic differences from the original: this one doesn't have the "Ninja" brand name, the paddle latch text is bilingual ("PADDLE LATCH, VERROU DE PALETTE"), and the lock indicator is a picture only, without the word "LID." Functionally, there is no difference at all.My only regret is not ordering the paddle with it, but that's next on my list. Considering how much my family uses our Creami, this new lid is a great value for the money.
Perfect fit for my ninja creami deluxe.I'm subtracting one star because the lid unlock button on my lid is getting caught and not springing back up after being pushed down, which may eventually render this thing unusable if it continues to get more jammed with time.
