I got this for my husband for his work.He loves using it. They are cute and easy to use. Better than using any plastic cutlery. I think it'll last him for awhile. These are easy to carry, compact case, easy to take during trips and travels and good value for the item. Very happy with this purchase.Also easily hand washed after use. I'll post a review on how these hold up after a few months of use.for now, very happy with this purchase.
Nice portable cutlery set. Love that it has fork, spoon, knife, & chopsticks. Knife, although short, does cut well. All components are far superior to the disposable plastic cutlery set. Fits well in the case. If you travel via airplane & pack in your carry-on, definitely have it easily accessible. My luggage was torn apart once by TSA looking for it thinking it was a foldable knife according to their X-ray scan. Once they found it, it easily went thru screening. Now I just put in my coat pocket when going through screening & never had a problem. Definitely recommended purchasing the neoprene carry case along with the cutlery set.
I never write reviews, but I absolutely love this travel cutlery set! Quality material. The size of the cutlery once assembled is perfect, and it fits into a tiny box when disassembled. Easy to put together and take apart. It’s perfect!
Love these! They are portable, durabble easy to put together and come apart easy for storage. They work great but i often have a problem with them spinning because i either didn't tighten them enough or am pressing into the way it unscrews. Great utensils that fit nicely in your pocket or bag.
Good for camping, a little on the heavy side. Because it has screw on sections you can adjust the length to get a spoon/fork with a longer handle. No matter the length of the handle it's easy to put together, with little to no bending of the handle.
BackstoryI do a lot of backpacking and I'm constantly trying to improve and simplify my load out. My cook set was nearly perfect. Everything fit inside my 750 ml titanium pot including my 4oz butane canister, BRS 3000 stove, lighter, trifold pot stand and hankerchief. That is except for my titanium long handle spoon. My spoon was always getting misplaced or poking into my gear threatening to tear into things. That's when I decided to find something better.Folding backpacking spoons are common, but I really wanted something that still had a long handle and could fit in my toaks pot. A big ask, honestly. Luckily, Outlery was the perfect solution! The length is about 9 inches which is perfect for freeze dried meals and the bowl is a pleasant shape and feel. I also keep the fork attachment with it in case I do some fishing and cook up some trout. Before, I would just make do with a spoon and knife.The outlery collapsable cutlery set is seriously a 5 STAR item and almost the perfect product for my needs... Almost...Let me start by saying the feel is elegant and nice. However, in the backcountry things get messy. Hands get dirty. You get rained on and wet. Sometimes it can be hard to unscrew the sections from one another in these conditions. I would love to see an additional option offered where the handle is either more of an oval shape or has a knurling finish. This would make unscrewing the sections much easier!
Haven't found a reason to use it yet, but the quality and the compactness are amazing. Ill be taking it on my next camping trip
