Very well built and spacious....
Storage! Like most of us, we are trying so hard to get things decluttered and organized. Winter seems to be the months when we either think about it or get it done. We were no different. I researched a way to get my cans, jars and boxes out of the cupboard to make room for things I kept on the counter ( I have limited cabinets and no space for more). I looked at various models and found this one to be very tall and a wide width. It appeared to be a thicker material with simple installation. Boy, was it ever! I needed no tools at all. It went together lightening fast, we even built it on the door. It was so sturdy and yet light weight. I bought the white color and it did not marr or flake the whole time we built it or added all my items. The shelving is easily adjustable. The fronts have a lowered middle, making it easier to lift items up and out. This allows you to get closer if you have tall items, to the shelves above them. I won't know about the quality of the adhesive on the back of the screw pads. Let me explain. When you put the different bars together they use a screw, attached to a plastic disc with an adhesive backing. It screws into the bars, then you peel back the covering to expose the adhesive, then you press it against the door. I will not know how well it holds up over time until later, but it seems to hold well now. Just make sure you clean and dry your door in advance. They supplied you with felt pieces to stick on the door hanger and the bottom bar, for two reasons. One to keep you from scratching the paint or wood on your door, the other to make it a slight thicker for different door widths. They thought of everything except, a way to install it on a wall instead of your door. Most of the models on Amazon had both ways to install this shelving. I was so impressed with this ones features that I was not worried it did not. It is well built that it could handle a DIY approach to putting it on the wall instead. I was able to load it full. It did not move, bend or sway during that process, nor while taking something out. This model had different size shelves compared to others where they were the same size top to bottom only. We were able to put small medium and large size items in the shelves. The shelves even had small hangers off them for more storage. I am hanging my shopping bags from two of them. You could even hang garlic in the bag, pot holders, or ziplock bags holding candies or spices. Amazon and Dollar tree have those plastic bins if you want to line your shelves that should fit. My items did not need it. The openings in the shelving were of decent widths to keep even bagged seasonings in the shelves without falling out. I did however notice some other models had bracing bars to keep larger tall items from tipping out. This model did not. The sides went up a good height that tall items would likely not tip out. You could use a few DIY methods if you found your items too tall and were concerned. We are so happy with this purchase, we are considering one for the bathroom, and telling everyone about them!Including you........
