Far exceeded my expectation. Only thing is the stickers do pull off the door paint, at least they did for us so when you put them on make sure they’re where you plan to keep them. Otherwise, it’s super sturdy, looks incredibly nice and holds a lot of stuff we wouldn’t otherwise have room for.
I really like this but the screws look bad on the outside of the door to keep it from moving. It looks hideous.
Great storage solution
I debated giving this one a 4 star or a 5 star, I settled on 5 stars because what I didn't like I feel does not affect functionality that much really, is just more of a pet peeve of mine with how things are built nowadays for speed and not so much for craftmanship.The overall organizer feels really nice, the structure itself is very sturdy and the storage pieces lock in solid into the frame. The width of this I think it's perfect for a pantry, I personally did not use it in the kitchen but the linen closet to place those random things and games that live in there more organized and leave more room for towels. And it does hold a lot of things.Assembly was pretty straightforward, it has all the hardware, and the connections feel very very solid. With these type of over the door organizers I do screw them 3-4 on each side to the actual door, otherwise, they will hang and small things could fall from the back (they are not full bins/enclosed).What I didn't like were two things, one: they are not full bins so thin/small stuff can fall behind between the organizer and the door; two: the wood pieces although really nice and beautiful, they are NOT attached to the actual shelves, so you may move them accidentally (I did when I was placing things) when you put things in or grab something.
Many cliches apply to this product with awesome potential to meet an important need.The fact that every living area is finite means that everyone has limited space regardless of the square footage of their home. My house overall is average, but I always can use more storage capacity. This rack would help me but would be of even great value to someone living in a place that requires carefully utilizing every square inch.In addition to my generally making good use of storage space, the kitchen cabinet where I keep baking supplies and related items being deep results in some items being pushed to the back and forgotten. A 2024 revealed several bottles of spices that expired between 2017 and 2019. Since then, I only have utilized a small fraction of this space.My experience with this rack proves that a picture is worth a thousand words. The large number of narrow shelves shows that it provides generous space that keeps each item highly visibility. Additionally, being designed to be hung on a door makes awesome use of the available space.The bigger picture is that a combination of high grocery prices and the peace-of-mind of knowing that a product will be available when needed illustrate the value of being well stocked without wasting any food. One method that lacks any madness is to base your cooking on the available ingredients, and knowing what you have facilitates this.The obstacle behind giving this rack a gentleman’s C is that it suffers from Humpty Dumpty Syndrome. I expected at worse that it would arrive with each shelf needing to be attached to the other. I opened the box to discover that literally every screw and other component must be assembled.I have an intermediate ability to assemble things and am confident that I would know how to build this rack. However, the anticipated time and effort associated with putting this Humpty back together again is overwhelming.Even more telling is that I was waiting for the highly skilled technician who services my electronic exercise bicycle to come by in hopes that I could hire him to assemble the rack. He was here yesterday and looked at all the pieces of the rack. He told me that he had no idea how much to charge me for assembling it.I remain hopeful that I either will tackle this project or find the equivalent of all the king’s horses and all the king’s men that will put Humpty back together again. That accomplishment will get me a very helpful item.
I ended up really liking this organizer. Even though it’s marketed for kitchens and pantries, I put mine in the garage to hold wood stains and other small supplies, and it’s handled that job surprisingly well. Installation was easy - 2 screws and you're done - without any hassle, and the frame felt stable once everything was in place.The amount of storage space is what impressed me most. The shelves are different sizes, which made it simple to fit different‑sized cans and bottles, and nothing felt cramped or wobbly. Even with the extra weight of wood stains, it’s held up without bending or shifting, which says a lot about the build quality.Overall, it’s been a really practical addition to the garage.
