I should have had one of these decades ago. So much better to just have it over the sink and do my thing whether it's pouring out pasta or washing vegetables, etc. The functionality is great. Cleanup is a breeze and the larger size is perfect. I always hated having my colander sitting in the sink when i pour the water out. Didn't like the idea of the water splashing around the sink and back to the pasta sometimes. the metal is sturdy
Its smaller in size than what I was used to but it is deeper which i loved! easy to clean, drains and stores well since it folds.

I had a strainer, similar to this one which I found was a little larger. This strainer is good, however the extended handles do not reach the sides of my kitchen sink (one bowl) from side to side. It is still a useful strainer, but I must set it in the sink to use.
I really love the strainer! The large size is a big plus—it’s roomy enough to handle a full load of potatoes or pasta without bending or collapsing. It feels solid and sturdy, much better than a similar one I found in a local store. The sliders glide smoothly, and it fits securely across the sink without slipping.It arrived quickly, was well-packaged, and came sparkling new with no rust or flaws. So far, it has held up beautifully even though I don’t always dry it thoroughly after use (realistically, I know I won’t be fussing with that every time). If needed, a quick wipe with mineral oil or a spray of food-grade silicone on the arms should keep it protected.This strainer is practical & very useful for exactly what my meal prep needs are. I’m very happy with it and recommend it.
Love this - it expands over my sink and it's much nicer than other strainers. Very easy to drain pasta - I don't have to hold it with one hand and hold the hot water of the pasta with the other hand, where I usually get burned!
Super handy - fits across the sink- so u do not have to hold it. Large capacity. Easy to wash. Versatile
