Great functional item for the kitchen!
I typically buy a good amount of fresh fruits and vegetables when grocery shopping each week, and washing all of them can be a bit of an ordeal with them taking up space drying on towels on the counter. Before this strainer/colander, I had a large round plastic one that took up a lot of sink space, and a smaller collapsible semi-silicone one that couldn't fit very much fresh produce. Both *kind of* fit my needs but weren't the most functional. Enter this product! I really appreciate how this can extend to sit on the sink, and that the size is enough where the length and depth can fit a good amount of produce. In addition, you then still have plenty of space for the rest of the sink while whatever is in the colander drains. The only heads-up I would give is not to collapse the colander if it has any moisture at all, because it will trap that in the sliding parts and it won't dry - so leave it open after use. It seems sturdily built with thick plastic and is easy to slide in and out. I look forward to continuing to use this with my healthy eating goals of consuming lots of fresh produce regularly!
