Limited Usefulness

This drying rack is of limited usefulness cmpared to most. It does fit most kitchen and bathroom sinks, and the non-slip covered end is grippy and secure. But it does not fit my utility sink, where I think it might be of most use. And, since the size is intended to fit over the sink, you cannot put it in the bottom so as to keep items above water in the bottom of the sink. Its collapsible build makes it easy to store, and it is sturdy and heat resistant. It seems as though it should have multiple uses.But, it really fits very few items on top (say, one large and one small pot), and it does not allow for stacking them upright securely. Likewise, it wouldn't even hold one handwashed sweater. The gaps between the plates are large enough that flatware or a plate stacked upright or on an angle can slip between them. Everything needs to be placed flat.This rack would be helpful in in kitchen with only a tiny amount of counter space, but otherwise it is not very convenient. An expandible colander is more useful for washing vegetables. A non-slip mat is more useful for drying dishs. A fabric rack in the tub is more useful for drying handwashing.It seems overpriced compared to other dish-drying solutions. I am still searching for a use for it!

Exactly as advertised

The item folds up when not in use, and once opened, you can choose which orientation fits your sink space better. Convenient to expand food prep space while cooking or for additional drying space, especially for larger items like pots/ pans, or things that are too awkward/ heavy for certain drying racks. The black strips on each end causes friction that keeps it from sliding around. Anything that adds efficiency and function to my life gets 5 stars.
