Overall, this is a really nice silverware set. It looks and feels durable. It has a beautiful finish and consists of 30 pieces - 6 forks, 6 knives, 6 dinner spoons, 6 teaspoons, and 6 salad forks. I loved the smooth edge design and gold finish. It's great for formal or casual dinners alike, and the cutlery is also dishwasher safe which makes clean-up a lot easier.The one thing that I didn't like was the size of the salad forks and teaspoons - they are so tiny and not proportioned with the rest of the silverware. It really took away from the overall appeal and functionality for me. For that reason, I have a hard time recommending this silverware set.
Before purchasing, please note comparison photo of the salad fork and teaspoon from this flatware set as compared to a standard US flatware set. As you can see, the teaspoon and salad fork are significantly smaller…I was not expecting that. I ordered this 30 Piece Forged Flatware Cutlery Set Premium Stainless Steel, Service for 6 to replace the flatware in our RV. All I can say is the flatware has a good weight to it, but everything else about it is just kind of meh. I really don’t expect much longevity and wear from the set. I could be wrong, but I feel like the pieces will scratch easily. I’m really bothered by the teaspoon and salad fork discrepancy.
This is a well-made, sturdy set ofSilverware. The gold color is shiny and very pretty. The smaller spoon and forks are smaller than most other sets I have seen but this does not bother me. The price is good at around $40 for the set. Overall, I feel this is a nice set and I would recommend it!!!
