Large and in charge!
As many others have said, it's one of the largest scoops on the market, more than double the average, so you'll need to rethink how you measure portion sizes. But the build quality is what steals the show for me. Not only is the handle wide and comfortable to hold, but the scoop itself has ever-so-little give when strained under weight that it can be used for jobs other scoops simply cannot. For instance, I can easily make spaghetti with 2 pounds of pasta and 2 pounds of meat, plus sauce, in a large stock pot and thoroughly mix/toss it together, all the way to the bottom, without the scoop bending or breaking -- a feat that no other nylon scoop had yet accomplished.While the straining holes are large enough for spaghetti noodles to pass through, that has not been a problem in my experience. They are a bit of a challenge to clean when washing by hand, though the scoop is dishwasher safe and that thoroughly cleans it every time. Yes, it's priced at the high end of such kitchen utensils, but it's definitely worth it.

Is large enough to grab a significant amount of food in one go (not just pasta). Works great for my Ninja Foodi with its long handle, large scoop and heat resistance. Cleans up easily. Strong and does not bend with full load.

Pasta’s best friend
I love the size of this to scoop pasta. It’ll drain and properly scoop spaghetti. The smaller spoons with the slots, I’m always dropping pasta everywhere. Not with this. Works great.

Works great, but a bit large
This is a great pasta scoop for larger pots and batches of pasta. My only critique is that for smaller pots, such as I use when I make my kids boxed mac and cheese, this scoop is a bit large. But even then, it works as well as conventional smaller scoops.

Really good, especially for stirring pasta in a pan while cooking. The surface of the pasta spoon is wider and the fettuccine or spaghetti doesn’t get caught up as it does with the smaller pasta spoons.
