I LOVE my new skillet! It's substantial without being too heavy, as it weighs a little more than 2lbs. It arrived yesterday evening, and I immediately put it to work, making sautéed chicken thighs with veggies. Everything came out delicious, and the chicken was golden and browned.This morning, I put it to the "nonstick" test, making "fried" eggs without using any fat. They came out great and illustrated, "Yep. It's nonstick."
Wow this pan is substantial. I was surprised at how heavy it is. It’s also great looking and the non stick coating looks similar to the hex clad that I was also considering. I like that it is induction compatible
I love this skillet. It is definitely non-stick and cooks evenly. I like that I don't have to worry about getting the skillet too hot.
This pan is fantastic. I love the ability to sear while also having the nonstick capability. First meal in it easily slid out of the pan making cleanup fast and hassle free. Great addition to my kitchen that I will use daily.
I am very happy with this OXO Hybrid 2.5 QT nonstick saucepan. It is well-designed, sturdy, and, I got interrupted while cooking oatmeal, and the oatmeal stuck, but was easy to wash off with just a soft sponge. The lid fits well but the metal handle on the lid gets hot. I can already tell that the OXO saucepan is better quality than my greenpan saucepan whose nonstick properties only lasted a few years even tho I took good care of it.
It’s nonstick enough for fried eggs. Works well on induction range.
So far, it’s very nice. It’s working well washes easily.
