I am perfectly happy with steel even if it's more difficult for me to deal with than aluminum. I make dutch babies, so I need to heat the pan in the oven before adding batter. I notice that as soon as the oven reaches temperature, the aluminum is ready. With steel, I let it sit in the oven longer to actually heat up.I don't blame the material for the cleaning difficulties; I probably just don't know what I'm doing
It is difficult to find a solid stainless steel round pan. I needed a round pan that did not have non-stick coating on it. I needed to use it in the freezer for some delicious recipes. You cannot put a non-stick pan in the freezer. The quality of this pan is outstanding. It washes wonderful, and I would highly recommend hand drying it to preserve the life. Highly recommend purchasing this one.
Excellent for baking and storing your baked products, tightly sealed cover provide good protection.
We have replaced almost all our aluminum cooking implements with stainless because of our concern about Alzheimer's. These pans are sturdy and large enough to make a BIG cake if you choose to use multiple pans.
I liked the pans it was just what I wanted to go with my old cake pans!!
