Food slides off, can withstand high heat

Searching for silicone cooking utensils that I actually like has been an issue for me as of late. I have purchased several utensils from this company and I have liked them all.These two cooking spoons, one slotted and one not, have been a wonderful addition to my kitchen.These spoons are beveled and flexible on the heads. They are strong and durable enough to withstand high heat. The silicone is truly, non-stick and food easily slides right off.There is a bulge on the lower handle that is handy as a built in spoon rest. The handle is wooden and easy to grip. There is a hole on the end of the handle for hanging.Cleaning the silicone is easy because of it's non-stick qualities but the handle is wooden, so it has to be washed by hand. I suggest washing them quickly after use because the handle can't soak in water.

These Don't Belong In The Drawer!

I never have enough "serving ware" for the handful times that I host a big meal. I also never seem to remember that fact until the moment I am serving that meal! I thought these would surely solve that problem. I ordered the Black because I think the use over time would be less noticeable. I was so pleasantly surprised at the quality when these arrived! I mean for an item ordered just for functionality, it's a bonus that these turned out to be so nice!The silicone/rubber ends are thick & solid, not thin & bendable like cheaply made ones. If I want to use these for cooking, they will definitely hold up. I love that there is a little rubber knob-thing to use as a stand on the back side - I've never seen that before! Lastly the handles look great & feel solid. I originally put these in the drawer with all of the rest. But they looked so fancy next to everything else, they seemed out of place! They are also fairly "hardy" so they were taking up quite a bit of room in the drawer as well. I decided to find a nice jar type container so they could live on the counter - not revolutionary I know. But when you need serving ware or looking for better quality cooking utensils (which is tricky when buying online) This review is saying "here they are!"

Spoons look good and are nice, but they are not dishwasher safe

Included are two silicone spoons, 13 inches in length, one solid, the other slotted. The listing says they are not dishwasher safe, so there must be some concern about continued exposure to high heat and the silicone breaking down over time from the heat and detergents. I’m going to use them in the dishwasher anyway because there is no way I’m getting silicone spoons and hand washing them. That’s ridiculous. A major reason why I get silicone utensils is to not have to hand wash.They are not single material construction given that they have wooden handles. The wooden handles look good and feel good, though it would probably be better if they were solid silicone from tip to end given that there is a crevice where the wood meets the silicone. Still, I do like them, and there are some design elements that are nice. For example, there’s a bulge on the back to keep the scoops from touching the counter. There’s a beveled edge at the front to make it easy to scrap, and there’s a hole in the handle for hanging. All in all, these feel really solid and nice to use. It’s unfortunate that they aren’t dishwasher safe. Hopefully, despite the warning, they still hold up well over time.
