Eggs don't stick. Food doesn't crust on end. Easy to clean. Love them.
As most of you do, I have quite a few turners that just don't work. Eggs stick to them and yolks break when you try to turn the eggs. Food sticks and crusts on the ends that has to be literally scrapped off. Some of my turners are plastic and some are supposed to be silicone. Well, all silicone is not the same. I bought these turners because of the many positive review, and kept my finger crossed that they really worked with eggs.Tonight I made omelets. After the eggs cook on one side, I flip them to add ingredients, brown the other side of the eggs, and then fold the eggs over the ingredients to make the omelet. The turner with the slots worked flawlessly. I was able to get it under the edges of the eggs and flip them without breaking or tearing the eggs. It also worked well to fold the omelet. When I was done, I was so happy that nothing was stuck to the spatula. When frying eggs that need to be turned, there are no more broken yolks because the eggs stuck to the spatula.Although my primary purpose in buying these spatulas was to find one that eggs didn't stick to, I also want some that nothing stuck to. These seem to fit the bill. I also like that the end of the handle is easy to hold even with wet or oily hands, and the handle and spatula are both strong enough to hold heavier foods so they don't slide off. I will be eliminating the plastic and nylon spatulas that don't work and that I have been trying to deal with. Poor cooking tools really take some of the fun out of cooking.UPDATE 05/02/25:I am an experienced cook, and sometimes superior tools can be hard to find. Since I got these spatulas about 6 weeks ago, they have been my go-to tool for cooking eggs (fried, scrambled, and omelets) since the eggs don't stick to them at all. I have also used them for flipping burger, scooping casserole servings, and, really, everything you might use this type of spatula for. Literally nothing sticks to them, and they slip under anything.About the only fault I can find with them is that when moving food to a plate, you need to be careful to tilt the spatula so the food doesn't slip off. Yes, they are that slippery! They are so very easy to clean and using them is a joy. When we are cooking, we really don't need utensils that are difficult to clean.I hope this review was helpful.
