verry solid and versatile item
I've been wanting to get one of these for a while now. Was little hesitant about ordering because the price was much lower than some of the other units I had been looking at. When the unit came, I was pleasantly surprised on how sturdy and heavy the unit is. the handle was easy to install, just make sure the arrow on the handle is pointing up before sliding it into the body. The body is formed in one piece with no seems to catch dried batter material, making cleaning easy. The nice thing about this batter dispenser is that it comes with different size slip on nozzles allowing you to adjust the flow to match the batter thickness. I have not seen this option on other dispensers. I have used this unit to make everything from thin batter funnel cakes to thick batter cupcakes. Works great and the large capacity hopper eliminates constant refilling.

Is this completely practical in a regular kitchen? No. But is it fun and nice to have? Yes. It does leak a little in between pancakes, but it's not a lot, just a few drips. If your batter is too thick, it might get stuck, but I haven't had problems with that since it's a pretty large opening. Using this dispenser, I can get more consistently shaped pancakes. It's easy to drop the same amount evenly compared to regular spoons. It's pretty easy to clean. The opening moves easily to clean the spout, and the metal wipes down well. It holds a lot, my entire normal batter bowl can fit inside the funnel. It's a solid item, and easy to use.
