Excellent wood basting brushes. The shorter bristles are my preference for basting soft bread dough to prevent damage to the dough. The silicone types are too flexible for my preference as an avid baker. It is easy to clean, easy to use and for durability, I think it will last a very long tome. So nice you could keep one and give the other as a gift or gift topper. I also like the ability to store it on a hook.
These are perfect pastry brushes. They do not snag your pastry. But they're study enough to butter an intricate Bundt pan. I really love ve them.
I really do like these brushes, only complaint is that every once in a while a bristle will come free.
I got these for cleaning my mushrooms before cooking. And they work perfectly.They clean up easily, and dry quickly. I just need to remember to oil the handle before I use it again since it's not finished, and it soaks up the water when I wash it. I keep them hanging on my fridge so they're easy to get to.The bristles remain intact, only lost 1 or 2 even after brushing off several pounds of mushrooms and subsequent washing. Great value, and definitely happy I purchased these out of all the other choices.

it’s as shown in pic and description. however, first wash i had quite a few bristles falling off. do handle with care when washing. 😊
