Intriguing unusual design

I was immediately intrigued by the design of these forks. I'd never seen any like these before.These forks are sturdy but have a daintier feel to them than my usual dessert forks. Having now used them, I can understand the idea behind them better. With a regular fork, I'd place the side of the fork on the cake or pie and bring it down to make my cut. With this fork, you put the pointed tine into your dessert and then bring fork down to slice.Is having this pointed, angled tine on your fork better? It may be. I've tried it on cake and not noticed a difference, I then used one when I had hot dogs on a plate for lunch. It was easier to slice my hot dogs with this fork than a regular fork. I believe that, yes, these pastry forks will be nicer to use when having a piece of pie. I'd recommend them.

Feels great to hold with ergonomic grips, and picks up desserts much easier

These desert forks were very well made, and are comfortable to hold and easy to use due to the ergonomic design of the grips. They each also have one wider tine on each of them that I have personally found to be useful for picking up deserts, either by pronging onto them or picking them up from the bottom. The only downside I have found using them is that the overall width of all the tines combined are a little less wide than what I would have liked them to be, but that is not a dealbreaker for me and I think that it helps the forks be lightweight anyway. Regardless, I am happy with these forks and would definitely recommend them.
