Saw on cooking show and BETTER thank imagined. Geared for pies but works great with bread, casseroles and almost anything. Easily makes it look like something you bought at gourmet restaurant. Wish had one of these years ago!
Excellent tool. Used for the lattice on beef wellington and it turned out beautiful.
Fairly easy to use. Made a delicate pattern, but dough tore for me multiple times.
Good Design, Solid Build Quality and it worked for me first time.I was pleasantly surprised when I received this item, nicely boxed, bagged inside and it feels like a quality item built with substantial materials for a lifetime of use.Never used anything like this before but wanted to step up the pastry game on a Beef Wellington (see photo) which worked out great the very first time using this, it was a little fiddly to get going and there were a few areas that didn't cut fully which I had to adjust later - probably my fault in not applying consistent pressure or using a slightly warped wooden cutting board. I think technique and experience is just as important as having a good product so expect a bit of a learning curve.Super happy with the result and this product is a gem that I'll be using for a long time to come.The only downside is the poorly worded (translated) instructions on the box, but I can live with that.
This is heavy-duty and a great value for the quality you receive. It easily cuts through the pastry, giving the pastry a beautiful design, and cuts down on the time and hassle of making your own lattice. It cleans up easily and nicely and works like a charm.
